Foam mounting tape is often evaluated for rigid panels with minor surface mismatch, while thin film-carrier tape can suit flatter, low-profile parts. If clean removal or a sensitive finish matters, removal behavior must be part of the trial rather than assumed from the tape type. Critical outdoor or unfamiliar substrates should be sample-tested before full use.
